Hours of Operation/Visitation Hours
The OSF St. Mary Medical Center Emergency Department is open 24 hours with qualified physicians and physician assistants on duty at all times.
Regular visitation hours at OSF St. Mary Medical Center are from 10am - 8pm, and are designed to meet varying needs of the patient to promote family support, to prevent spread of disease from visitor to patient and to provide the patient an environment conducive to rest and healing. Visitation hours and guidelines depend on what department a patient is being treated as well as the needs of that patient. Parents of pediatric patients are granted 24 hour visitation and significant others of patients in obstetrics are also granted 24 hour visitation. For patients in the ICCU, visitation is limited to immediate family members or the discretion of the nursing staff. Children 14 years or younger are generally not allowed to visit patients in the ICCU.
The seven OSF Medical Group Clinics operated under OSF St. Mary Medical Center have varying office hours. Patients are recommended to call for an appointment at any of our OSF Medical Group Clinics.
