Patient Education

A minimum of 16 hours per week are spent on formal patient education which is scheduled based on the needs of the patients.  The Patient Educator provides patient education to patients of all ages, pediatric to geriatric, on an inpatient and outpatient basis.  The major focus of education is diabetes education and ostomy care education.
