Emergency Medical Services (EMS)

OSF St. Mary's Emergency Department is the areas EMS Resource Hospital. The medical center has the responsibility of overseeing all the training and education of the EMS system providers. An EMS System is a network of resources such as fire departments, rescue squads, dispatch centers and ambulance services providing service to the citizens of our communities in cases of illness or injury.
