OSF St. Mary Medical Center Occupational Health is a full-service provider of occupational and environmental medicine. We serve the needs of Galesburg area employers and employees with complete, objective and quality work targeted medical services.
OSF St. Mary Occupational Health partners with area employers to assure healthy, safe and productive workforces. Through pre-employment physicals, pre-employment functional assessments, post-injury care, drug screening, consultation and even customized services, Occupational Health stands ready to serve work health needs. OSF St. Mary Medical Center Occupational Health is an integrated delivery system that is service driven and is recognized as an outstanding leader in the field of Occupational Health.
Occupational Health Staff
The staff includes a physician and nurse practitioner to evaluate and treat work related injuries. The staff also includes 7 Department of Transportation certified urine drug collectors and breath alcohol technicians.
We have certified hair collectors for alternative matrix drug screening. Our physician is a certified medical review officer.
What We Do
The focus of OSF St. Mary Occupational Health is to provide prompt evaluation and treatment of injured workers with the goal of resolving injuries and allowing employees to continue to work. In addition to providing care for injured workers, we also provide:
- Pre-placement evaluations including functional screening
- Respirator physicals and fit testing
- CAOHC certified technicians and two annually certified hearing booths
- FAA physicals for all classes
- DOT physicals
- Disability evaluations
- Independent Medical Evaluations
- Military Reserve exams
Drug/Alcohol Screening
OSF St. Mary Occupational Health works with numerous employers to provide a full range of drug screens including breath alcohol screens. All personnel performing collections are certified and meet all current requirements for continuing education. Drug screening services provided include:
- Pre-placement and random drug screens
- Compliance testing
- Reasonable suspicion testing
- Post accident testing
We do maintain consortiums for DOT and non-DOT collections
Hours
OSF St. Mary Occupational Health is open from 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday. After hour care is coordinated with our Emergency Department to provide 24 hour access for injury care and drug screen collection.
