OSF St. Mary Medical Center is not only run by skilled physicians, nurses and a professional staff, but also by a group of dedicated volunteers who devote their time, talents and energy in many different ways. They are of all ages and from a variety of backgrounds. Their dedication, cheerfulness and compassion add a personal touch which contributes to the happiness of not only our patients and their families, but also our employees. Becoming a Volunteer

If you are interested in volunteering at OSF St. Mary Medical Center, you may pick up applications in Volunteer Services.  If you have questions or would like more information about volunteering at OSF St. Mary Medical Center, please contact Volunteer Services Director Jody Rinker, RN at (309) 344-3161, ext. 1252.

Every volunteer must complete an orientation with the Director of Volunteer Services.  Upon completion of the orientation, the volunteer will then be placed in the area of service of his or her choice and will train with other volunteers in that area.  Every volunteer trains until he or she feels comfortable enough to work alone.
