OSF St. Mary Medical
Center is a member of OSF HealthCare System. OSF stands for The
Sisters of the Third Order of St. Francis and represents over 120 years
of commitment to provide the best in health care available. The OSF St.
Mary history in our community is marked by our three locations in
Galesburg, Illinois since OSF St. Mary’s founding in 1909.
OSF St. Mary Medical Center
is a 138 bed acute care hospital providing
state-of-the-art therapeutic, diagnostic, medical and surgical support
for their patients and medical staff. A strong, specialized nursing and
technical staff is maintained by the hospital. Professional health
educators are the nucleus of the in-house and outreach health screening,
information and education programs. Supported by certified social
workers, nutritionists and therapists, this team insures their ability
to provide high quality patient care and education in the pre- and
post-medical center experiences. A twenty-four hour Level II Trauma
Center ensures our community has the access to intensive emergency
medical services and Board Certified Emergency Medical physicians.
OSF St. Mary owns and
operates eight family health clinics to
provide primary health care. The OSF Medical Group Clinics are located
in Abingdon, Alexis, Galesburg, Galva, Knoxville, Roseville,
Williamsfield and Woodhull. The clinics' geographic proximity to OSF St.
Mary Medical Center provides convenient access for our clients.
Our role within the
community goes beyond a comprehensive health care provider to that of
responsible corporate citizen. It is seen as our moral obligation to
provide the highest quality health care possible without compromising
